The Croissant
Ah, the lovely croissant. One of the finest breads ever invented by the French. Most of the time, I would always recommend making the bread yourself. If you find the time and patience to prepare delicious homemade croissants, here is an amazing and “quicker” version. “Shortcut” Easy Croissants. It is considered a shortcut recipe because in true classic recipes, it takes two days and much rolling, folding, and refrigerating. But even the shortcut version is still a six hour process. Fortunately, there are amazing bakeries that create fantastic croissants using only the standard ingredients. And bonus to you if you happen to live near a real French bakery, because these will be the most authentic, airy, flaky croissant you will ever taste.
