Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 2 pounds Mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/2 Red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup Plain breadcrumbs
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly shredded
- 1/4 tsp Sea salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Rince and remove the stems from the mushrooms. Save the stems and finely chop for the stuffing.
- Place the mushrooms in a 13x9 baking dish.
- Preheat the oven to 400℉.
- Melt the butter in a small cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped mushroom pieces, red onion, and chopped garlic.
- Sauté until the mushrooms and onions are soft.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and add the breadcrumbs, parmesan, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Fill each mushroom with 1-2 tbsp of filling.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Allow the mushrooms to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
