These luscious strawberry lemonade blondies are truly a treat for the senses! Imagine soft, pillowy blondies infused with bright bits of juicy strawberries and topped with a zingy strawberry lemon icing that adds the perfect tartness. After the kids indulged in these delightful treats, the first enthusiastic comment I heard was, “I know what I’ll be having for breakfast tomorrow morning!”
There’s simply no comparison between store-bought strawberries and the burst of flavor you experience when you bite into a ripe strawberry plucked right off the plant. It honestly just melts in your mouth like pure bliss. If you’ve never had the chance to savor this astonishing flavor, I highly recommend checking out this website. It features an interactive map highlighting strawberry farm locations across the U.S.: U-Pick Strawberry Farms Located By State | PYO Strawberries.
Strawberries are incredibly versatile and can be transformed into a variety of delicious treats, whether fresh or frozen. However, like most berries, strawberries come with a short shelf life. A great tip to keep your strawberries fresher for longer is to store them in glass containers. Adding a paper towel inside the container helps absorb moisture, further extending their freshness. Also, if you want to preserve strawberries for later, they freeze beautifully! Just remember to flash freeze them on a baking sheet before transferring them to freezer bags. Flash freezing will prevent them from sticking together in one large clump. By freezing, you’ll have easy access to the delightful berries for up to six months later.
