Ingredients
 

Struesel

  • 2 tbsp Butter, room temp
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉ and grease the bread pan.
  • Melt the coconut oil in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla, almond extract, milk, and sour cream. Beat until smooth.
  • Gently mix in the flour, baking powder and sea salt.
  • Fold in the almond slices and cherries until just combined, being careful to not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the greased bread pan.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle over the entire batter edge to edge.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove to a cooling rack and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before icing.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almon extract, and milk. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the icing over the top of the bread.
  • Can be served immediately.
