Grease one bread pan with butter and add a parchment paper sling inside the bread pan if desired.
In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
Remove from the microwave and stir in the sugar.
Add the bananas to the bowl and stir to combine.
Add the eggs and stir again to combine all the ingredients.
Measure the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon into the mixing bowl. Gently fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
Pour the batter into the bread pan and smooth the top with the spatula.
Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
