Ingredients
 

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 pound Yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 pound Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 pound Sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 8 oz Egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet or dutch oven, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the onions and mushrooms and sauté until soft.
  • Add the garlic and continue to cook for another minute.
  • Add the sliced steak into the skillet.
  • Continue to cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the steak and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the beef broth to the skillet and scrape any brown bits off the bottom of the pan, stirring the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the egg noodles to the skillet, stir into the liquid and cover.
  • Allow the noodles to cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring once to prevent sticking.
  • Remove the lid and stir in the sour cream to the stroganoff.
  • Serve immediately.
