2 tbsp Butter 1/2 pound Yellow onion, diced 1/2 pound Mushrooms, sliced 2 cloves Garlic, minced 1 pound Sirloin steak, thinly sliced 2 tbsp Flour 2 cups Beef broth 1/2 tsp Sea salt 1/2 tsp Black pepper 8 oz Egg noodles 1/2 cup Sour cream
In a large skillet or dutch oven, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the onions and mushrooms and sauté until soft.
Add the garlic and continue to cook for another minute.
Add the sliced steak into the skillet.
Continue to cook for 4-5 minutes.
Sprinkle the flour over the steak and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the beef broth to the skillet and scrape any brown bits off the bottom of the pan, stirring the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the egg noodles to the skillet, stir into the liquid and cover.
Allow the noodles to cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring once to prevent sticking.
Remove the lid and stir in the sour cream to the stroganoff.
Serve immediately.
