Ingredients
 

  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Beer
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat.
  • Whisk in the flour, stirring continuously for 2-3 minutes.
  • Slowly add the beer, whisking continuously.
  • Add the milk, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt.
  • Allow the sauce to thicken, stirring often, over about 6-7 minutes.
  • Slowly add about 1/4 cup of cheese at a time, whisking to smooth the sauce.
  • Once all the cheese is added and the sauce is smooth, serve immediately.
