Ingredients
 

  • tsp Instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • cups Water
  • 3 cups Bread flour
  • 1 tsp Sea salt

Topping

  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Instructions
 

  • Measure the yeast, sugar, and water into the bowl of the stand mixer.
  • Add the bread flour and sea salt.
  • Using the dough hook, knead the dough for 6-8 minutes, or until the dough is combined.
  • Remove the hook and cover. Allow to rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Punch down the dough and separate into 12 equal dough balls.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper.
  • Roll each dough ball into breadsticks that are approximately 6-8 inches long. Cover and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
  • Bake the breadsticks for 12-15 minutes, or until a golden brown exterior.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter.
  • Remove the breadsticks from the oven and generously brush with melted butter. Lightly sprinkle the garlic powder and parmesan cheese on top. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
