This easy Caprese Pasta Salad combines bowtie pasta, garden-fresh cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, bite-sized mozzarella balls, and black olives with a homemade garlic balsamic dressing. Ingredients
 

  • 8 oz Bowtie pasta
  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz Mozzarella balls
  • 6 oz Black olives
  • 1 cup Basil leaves, chopped

Dressing

  • 3/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Boil the bowtie pasta to al dente.
  • Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, black olives, and basil leaves.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, sea salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and stir to coat all the ingredients.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
