Ingredients

Streusel topping

  • 3 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375℉.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar.
  • Whisk in the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  • Gently mix in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sea salt to combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.
  • In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of brown sugar with 2 tsp cinnamon.
  • Fill each muffin cup approximately 1/3 full with batter.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar/ cinnamon mixture on top of the batter.
  • Add batter on top to fill each muffin cup 2/3 full.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine 3 tbsp melted butter, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour, and 1 tsp cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle the streusel over the top of the muffins.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to completely cool.
