1/2 cup Butter, softened 3 cloves Garlic, minced 1 tbsp Coarse ground mustard 1 tbsp Chives, freshly chopped 1 tsp Thyme, freshly chopped 1 tsp Lemon juice 1/2 tsp Paprika 1/4 tsp Cayenne 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper 1/4 tsp Sea salt 1/4 tsp Black pepper
In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic, coarse ground mustard, and lemon juice until smooth.
Add the chopped chives, thyme, paprika, cayenne, crushed red pepper, sea salt, and black pepper.
Stir to fully combine the ingredients.
Scrape the cowboy butter onto a piece of plastic wrap, form into a log shape, and fold over the edges.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
If using on top of steak, cut 1 tbsp off the roll and place on hot steak to melt into the meat.
If using as a dip, place the butter in a bowl, cover with paper towel, and microwave for 30 second increments until melted.
