German Chocolate Frosting
- 2 Egg, beaten
- 1⅓ cup Milk
- 1⅓ cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 2 cups Unsweetened coconut flakes
- 3/4 cup Pecans, chopped
Preheat the oven to 350℉.
In a 4 quart saucepan, combine: 2 beaten eggs1⅓ cup Milk1⅓ cup Sugar1/2 cup Butter Turn the burner on medium and slowly bring the mixture to a simmer.
Simmer ingredients for 10-15 minutes, or until the frosting has thickened.
Remove from the heat and add the coconut flakes and chopped pecans.
Allow the frosting to cool while preparing the brownies.
In a large mixing bowl, combine:3/4 cup Butter, melted1⅔ cups Sugar2 Eggs2 tsp Vanilla extract2 tbsp Water Mix in the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix:1½ cups Flour3/4 cup Cocoa powder1/2 tsp Baking powder1/4 tsp Sea salt Grease a 13x9 baking dish and pour the brownie batter into the dish.
Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the brownies comes out clean.
Cool for 20 minutes before frosting.
Spread the frosting over the entire brownies, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.
