- 1 cup Avocado oil
- 1 pound ground pork
- 4 cups Cabbage, shredded
- 1 Carrot, shredded
- 1/4 cup Yellow onion, diced
- 2 Green onions, diced
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 50 Lumpia wrappers
- small bowl of water
Preheat the avocado oil in a large cast iron skillet to 350-375℉.
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, carrot, onion, green onion, garlic, egg, soy sauce, and black pepper.
Separate the lumpia wrappers.
In the first wrapper, place 1 tablespoons of pork mix in a line in the center, leaving an inch on each side for folding.
Fold the top of the wrapper over the pork mix, then fold the sides, and tightly roll the lumpia.
Wet your fingers and dab the end of the wrapper so that it sticks to the lumpia roll.
Continue with the remaining wrappers and filling.
Place 6-8 lumpia at a time into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until crispy on all sides.
Remove the lumpia to a paper towel lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serve immediately once the entire batch is fried.
