  • Cut the string cheeses in half to make 24 shorter cheese sticks.
  • Crush the panko into fine powder in a food processor.
  • Mix panko, bread crumbs, italian seasoning, and sea salt in a shallow bowl.
  • Beat 3 eggs in a second shallow bowl.
  • Dip the cheese sticks into the egg mixture and then into the breading mixture.
  • Place the breaded cheese sticks on a parchment paper lined sheet pan.
  • Once the cheese sticks are all breaded. Place the sheet pan in the freezer for one hour.
  • Heat about 2 inches of avocado oil in a large dutch oven or stock pot to 375℉.
  • Gently drop about 6 breaded cheese sticks into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes, turning to brown all sides.
  • Remove with a slotted spool to a paper towel lined cooling rack.
  • Continue cooking the cheese sticks in batches.
  • Serve immediately with marinara sauce.
