- 1 cup Butter, softened
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 Large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Sea salt
- 1 tsp Baking soda dissovled in 1 tsp water
- 2 cups Chocolate chips
In a stand mixer, combine butter with sugar and brown sugar. Beat with the paddle attachment until the 3 ingredients are combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat again until all ingredients are combined.
Turn the mixer off. Add flour, salt, and baking soda slurry.
Restart the mixer and mix until dry ingredients are just combined.
Remove the bowl from stand mixer. Using a rubber spatula, scrap bowl to make sure all the dry ingredients are combined.
Add chocolate chips to cookie dough and thoroughly fold into the dough.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Scoop the dough into about a tablespoon shaped ball and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove pan from oven and rest on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring the cookies to a cooling rack.
