Ingredients
 

  • 1 Pound Argentine shrimp
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • cups Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 Pound Fettuccini

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the fettuccini according to the package instructions for al dente pasta. Drain and return to the stockpot.
  • Melt the butter in a 2 quart saucepan.
  • Add the garlic and simmer for one minute.
  • Whisk in the heavy cream and bring to a slow simmer.
  • Slowly add the parmesan cheese, whisking continuously to prevent clumping.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the shrimp to the sauce, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the alfredo sauce over the fettuccini and toss for 2-3 minutes to coat the pasta with sauce.
  • If the sauce is thin, pasta water can be added, 1 tbsp at a time to thicken.
  • Serve immediately.
